J. DAVID FINCH, a close friend of the late Boyd Neel, was entrusted with the publication these memoirs shortly before Dr. Neel died. He lives in Port Credit, Ontario. Sir Peter Neville Luard Pears CBE was an English tenor. His career was closely associated with the composer Benjamin Britten, his personal and professional partner for nearly forty years.
